Waiver Wire Wednesday: Week 6

Every week the Burbs Sports team compiles four players that will either make a weekly or yearly difference for your fantasy team. This week we have two young breakout wide receivers along with some plug-in players for a couple of weeks due to injuries.

Chase Claypool

PIT WR

PPG: 17.6

ROSTERED: 5.1% of Leagues

The rookie out of Norte Dame saw a career high in targets, yards, and touchdowns. This level of production will not be nearly at this level all year but Claypool has surely made a name for himself. Expect Claypool to see an increase in targets and to level out as a consistent fantasy contributor in the future.

Justin Jackson

LAC RB

PPG: 9.25 (In games without Ekeler)

ROSTERED: 9.4% of Leagues

After what we saw Monday night vs the Saints, Jackson will split time but also looked to separate himself from fellow RB Kelley. Towards the end of the game the ground attack was serviced primarily through Jackson where he also saw work through the air as well. Until Ekeler comes back, Jackson will be a nice RB2/Flex option.

Travis Fulgham

PHI WR

PPG: 22.5

ROSTERED: 0.5% of Leagues

Who? Allow me to introduce you to Travis Fulgham the Philadelphia practice squad player out of Old Dominion. Through 2 weeks he has managed to catch a game winning touchdown and notch 12 catches, 209 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Theres no telling what will happen when Alshon Jeffery and Jalen Reagor come back from injury but until then, Fulgham is a must add.

Alexander Mattison

MIN RB

PPG: 8.3

ROSTERED: 12% of Leagues

Mattison is a must start, this Vikings offensive scheme relies heavily on the running back position and Mattison has shown that he is not a huge drop of from the starter Dalvin Cook. While Mattison is only guaranteed one more week as the starter, he is worth the roster spot as Cook's health is always a concern.
