Coming off a year that was all his, Houston's own Travis Scott is looking to make his way back to the charts Friday with a new song.

Travis Scott had an out-of-this-world 2018. Since releasing his beloved and long awaited project Astroworld, he has become a mainstay in the mainstream hip-hop scene. 2019 has seen Travis wrap up his Wish You Were Here tour and also release his very own Netflix special focusing on Astroworld and it's tour called Look Mom, I Can Fly. Musically, Travis has been pretty quiet, only popping up for features here and there for artists like Future, Offset, ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, and Maxo Kream.

The song, entitled "Highest In The Room", was initially teased back in April by La Flame's flame, Kylie Jenner. The snippet surfaced in a promotional video for her company, Kylie Cosmetics.

On the track, Scott discusses the inspiration that he receives from his relationship with Jenner as well as his relationship with drugs.

Many details have come out about the song over the last few months, including the possibility of a feature verse from Lil Baby as well as additional vocals from frequent collaborator Young Thug. Highest In The Room was produced by Nik D & OZ and will be releasing on Friday, October 4th.
