Last week, Drex Carter — a member of Florida music collective seeyousoon — released "idk," a new single and stunning visual directed by Corbin Huggins.
Carter delivers a combination of rapping and sung hooks over a soft-strung guitar instrumental suited for the incoming fall season. The melancholic mood conveyed by Carter is only enhanced by production from Kkami and Thomas LaRosa.
The video for "idk" is striking. Four years in the making, the special effects seen in the video are extremely impressive, building upon the naturally beautiful backdrops featured. The constant location changes are visually stimulating, making the three-minute runtime glide.
