Here at Burbs, we like to keep our followers up to date on everything new in sports, fashion, and culture, of course. This is one of the main reasons why we decided to start a curated list of all the new movies that might be worth a watch each month. With the weather getting colder and the holiday season kicking into high gear, movies are one of the easiest ways to avoid the cold and having to talk to your family at the same time. However, whether you're trying to find a flick that will satisfy the whole gang or just want something spicy to Netflix and chill to, it can be tough to find a movie that everyone agrees on. That's why this list doesn't discriminate between genres or viewing platforms, but is instead designed to offer a diverse list of everything from rom-coms to animated films to dramas (organized by the date of release). Terminator: Dark Fate

The Irishman

Martin Scorsese brings together iconic gangster actors De Niro, Pesci and Pacino to give us the true story of former mob hit man Frank Sheeran, using de-aging technology to portray the actors across a decades spanning saga.
Harriet
Starring: Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr.

Director Kasi Lemmons brings us the true story of Harriet Tubman; her escape from slavery and how she courageously returned over and over again to lead hundreds of others to freedom.
The King
Starring: Timothee Chalamet, Robert Pattinson

Timothee Chalamet, known for his role in the coming of age story Lady Bird, portrays a different sort of growing up story as Hal the Prince becomes King Henry V, who must protect his crown from enemies within and without England.

Doctor Sleep

Noelle
Starring: Anna Kendrick, Bill Hader
Platform: Disney+
With Disney's new streaming service "Disney Plus" launching this month, the company decided to roll out a couple of fresh originals with the platform. Among them is Noelle, who's main character of the same name sends her brother Santa on vacation the week before Christmas, which becomes a problem when he doesn't come back.

Earthquake Bird

A psychological thriller/mystery focused on photography and deception, the film tells the story of an American in Japan who is brought in for questioning after her friend goes mysteriously missing.
