March began on a high-note with the surprise release of Lil Uzi Vert’s long-awaited Eternal Atake, complemented by drops from the likes of Gunna, Rich the Kid, Lil Skies, 88GLAM, Megan Thee Stallion, Jhene Aiko, King Von, $NOT, and others.

#5 - “Havin My Way” (ft. Lil Durk) by Lil Skies
Lil Skies linked up with Chicago star Lil Durk for “Havin My Way”, a catchy new single for his first release of 2020.
In the music video, Skies and Durk are depicted as puppets controlled by the industry, trying to break free and “have their way”. This track marks the first collaboration between the two since “Rockstar” off Durk’s Signed to the Streets 3.
This track shows that Skies hasn’t evolved all that much, but his sound has become well-polished; I’m excited for his next full-length project.

#4 - “SKYBOX” by Gunna
After some time off, Gunna is back with the first single off his forthcoming album WUNNA.
“SKYBOX” is a wavy cut with no shortage of high-fashion flexes. Gunna floats over the dreamy beat by Taurus, making this track a smooth listen. A majestic music video was released alongside “SKYBOX”:

#3 - Levon James by King Von
OTF-signee and Chicago native King Von dropped Levon James, his second studio album executively produced by ChopsquadDJ.
Levon James runs 16 tracks and features close collaborator Lil Durk as well as G Herbo, YNW Melly, Tee Grizzley, NLE Choppa, Yungeen Ace, and label-mate Booka600.

#2 - -Tragedy+ by $NOT
Rule-breaking artist $NOT has finally released his debut project after two years of building an underground following with only singles.
The rising star out of South Florida used the 12 tracks on -Tragedy+ to boast his range. “Beretta” (ft. Wifisfuneral) is reminiscent of a Shoreline Mafia track, while songs like “GOSHA”, “Pressure”, and “ROADRUNNER +” are dark and ethereal. $NOT has the versatility to cater to nearly every rap subgenre - not to mention his hints of alternative and R&B.
This is only the beginning for $NOT; he’s definitely an artist you’ll want to keep on your radar.

#1 - Eternal Atake by Lil Uzi Vert
After a two-and-a-half year delay, Lil Uzi Vert has returned to glory with another classic record.
The one-of-a-kind trap icon from Philly made up for his extended hiatus with 18 tracks. It is speculated that his three musical “alter egos” split the album; the first six tracks being “Baby Pluto”, the second six being “Orenji”, and the last six being “Uzi”.
The production on EA is spectacular, with a rare Chief Keef beat on “Chrome Heart Tags”, a sample of Travis Scott’s “Way Back” on “Prices”, and production from TM88, Wheezy, Supah Mario, OogieMane, and IkeBeatz across the rest of the album.
