Last week brought us a handful of highly-anticipated releases from Tame Impala, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Migos, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Kodak Black, NBA Youngboy, YG, and others, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

#5 - Changes by Justin Bieber
His first studio album since 2015’s Purpose, the former pop wunderkind has returned to the limelight with a lukewarm release.
Instantly met with mixed reviews, the music world is left to wonder if JB has any more gas left in the tank. After his desperate attempt to get “Yummy” to #1, flopping with “Intentions”, and replacing Ski Mask the Slump God with Lil Dicky on “Running Over”, several bombs contributed to the album’s negative reception. It’s safe to say that JB is no longer this generation’s “king of pop” - despite his desperate attempts to hold the title.

#4 - Artist 2.0 by A Boogie wit da Hoodie
Bronx genre-blender A Boogie is back with Artist 2.0, a well-polished album with an abundance of star-studded features.
For fans of A Boogie, this album encompasses all of his infamous styles. There’s typical trap bangers as well as soft R&B/rap cuts, with standout tracks like “Numbers” (ft. Roddy Ricch, Gunna, & London on da Track), “Might Not Give Up” (ft. Young Thug), “Stain” (ft. DaBaby), “Another Day Gone” (ft. Khalid), and “Luv is Art” (ft. Lil Uzi Vert).
This album, while slightly forgettable, has a little something for everyone and further proves why A Boogie has gained traction as one of trap’s most versatile artists.

#3 - “Give No Fxk” (feat. Travis Scott & Young Thug) by Migos
After being teased for some time, the trap dream team of Migos, Travis, and Thugger popped off with “Give No Fxk”, a rambunctious new single.
With production from Murda Beatz and DJ Durel, this track is a heater. As we’ve seen time and time again, Thug and Travis can do no wrong together. Some extra flavor from the world’s favorite rap trio made this song well worth the wait.

#2 - “No Time to Die” by Billie Eilish
Leading up to the release of the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die, Billie Eilish beautifully carried out the film’s theme song of the same name.
First announced a month ago, Billie teased the track up until its release. With her wonderfully chilling performance, Billie joins artists such as Adele and Paul McCartney as vocalists behind a James Bond theme song.
As you could predict, the track is produced by her brother and right-hand FINNEAS with help from Stephen Lipson. The track’s production is ethereal, fitting in with the rest of Billie’s unique discography.

#1 - The Slow Rush by Tame Impala
After an agonizing five-year hiatus, contemporary alternative’s most beloved figure has returned to the spotlight with a wavy masterpiece.
The Slow Rush is a 12-track journey into Kevin Parker’s psyche, displaying more vulnerability than any of his past releases. With the concept of time being one of the album’s main themes, tracks such as “One More Hour”, “Lost in Yesterday”, and “Breathe Deeper” are flawless staples. The sonics are in-line with his beloved brand of trippy pop alternative, but he incorporates more tropical, dance-inducing sounds than ever before.
