Dear Kanye,

We here at Burbs are some of your biggest fans, disciples of Yeezus.

I know you've been dealing with a lot lately, with leaks and stuff. Having to scrap Yandhi must've been unbelievably frustrating; New Body fire, though. If you see this, please don't be upset; please don't scrap Jesus Is King. I know in the past you have said that you miss the "Old Kanye," but this new Kanye is a different kind of amazing. You have turned my 60-year-old mother, someone who always disapproved in my music taste, into a genuine fan. A little over two years ago she grounded me for playing Rodeo in her car; now, she texts me almost daily asking if I watched the new Sunday Service and if I know anything more about Jesus Is King. You've done something I never thought would happen.

If you're reading this, please understand we are doing this out of love and admiration for you and your work.

Last 𝖥̶𝗋̶𝗂̶𝖽̶𝖺̶𝗒̶ I mean Sunday, we missed the release date for Kanye West's long-awaited album, 𝖳̶𝗎̶𝗋̶𝖻̶𝗈̶ ̶𝖦̶𝗋̶𝖺̶𝖿̶𝗑̶ ̶𝟣̶𝟨̶, I mean 𝖸̶𝖺̶𝗇̶𝖽̶h𝗂̶ , I mean Jesus Is King.

Can I say I'm shocked? No, I cannot.

Kanye West is a perfectionist, this shouldn't be news to us. He will tweak and tweak and tweak this album until he feels that it has reached the standard that we've come to expect from Ye.

Throughout his iconic discography, we have come to expect a top-tier album regardless of the sound he is going for.

Have no fear.

Jesus is King is coming.

or it might not come. Re2pect to Mike Dean the legend

Nevertheless, while we continue to fiend for Jesus Is King let us take a look at what we've gotten thus far

- I am overjoyed to see Kanye embrace the new age of producers.

- Pierre Bourne is the perfect example of someone who could really help add an interesting sound to the album.

- If the title on the caption is right, there may be a chance Young Thug makes an appearance on the track

-Listening to "The Storm" from the OG Yandhi leak, with Ty Dolla $ign and XXXTentacion was spiritual. It's quite beautiful that Kanye has decided to quit making secular (non-religious) music, but it's too bad that that version won't be making the final cut. Ye said JIK wouldn't have any swearing, and swearing is something that X did.... a lot.

-Banging beat from Ronny J on "New Body"

-I can confidently say this is one of the only times I've ever been FOR a Ty Dolla $ign feature

-It's unfortunate that Yandhi didn't come to fruition, as the subject matter on the song will change heavily to meet the common theme of JIK

-Beautiful *chef's kiss*

-It's definitely been worked further than the Yandhi version that leaked, entitled "Chakras"

- From the last we've heard, "Use This Gospel As Protection" will feature a reunion from Clipse (Pusha-T and his brother No Malice) and a saxophone solo from the legendary Kenny G

-This footage was obtained anonymously from someone who went to the listening party at Auditorium Theatre in Chicago.

-According to Genius, this track is entitled "Selah" and is produced by Ronny J; once again, glad to see the super-producer reach out to the next generation.

All rights reserved to GOOD Music/Def Jam, and of course Mr. West, on all the videos linked

Thanks to the Internet for allowing us nerds to speculate and try to connect the pieces, hopefully we'll soon figure out what the hell is going on.

Now I've never been a fan of gospel music, per say, but I could really get down with this being the "new" Kanye.
