StockX Gets Hacked

StockX, currently valued at $1 billion, was hacked exposing information of more than 6.8 million users last week. StockX in simpler terms is a stock market for deadstock shoes.
Deadstock - /dedstäk/ - A shoe that has never been worn, with the original box and tags.
It shows all the recent sales of whatever shoe you're looking for shows if a price is rising or falling. It's in my opinion, the best way to see how much a shoe is actually reselling for. Sadly, with this most recent hack, it appears that customer data such as their real name, usernames email address, shipping address, password, purchase history and shoe size have all been confirmed as breached. Following the hack, all the information breached was sold on the dark web by the hacker to an unknown buyer for $300. After being hacked, StockX sent out an email stating there was a system update and to reset your password.

It was then later discovered by the public that a hack had occurred and StockX was then forced to elaborate on the situation.
Though it is said that no payment information had been taken, some customers took to twitter to show that their card information was indeed stolen.
