As the NFL gears up for their Week 6 matchups, so does the Burbs Sports team. We give you our top four favorite bets of NFL Sunday and a short explanation on why it will hit. Be sure to take our 100% confidence picks!
Well, there's not much to say. As the weeks go on we slowly have learned that we actually suck at doing this. Instead of taking our picks it may be smart to just do the complete opposite, in fact you'd actually be making money doing that. But as always we're going to try our best and get this back on track!
And by all means feel free to make fun of us for these picks.
Standings:
1. Dylan Fadden:--------9-11
2. Connor Sheehan:----7-12-1
3. Matt Harris:------------7-13
Last Week:---------------3-9
Overall:------------------20-27-1
Dylan Fadden:
Browns ML +160 @ Steelers
12:00 PM CT

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know what you're thinking, and yes I'm serious. The combined record of Steelers opponents thus far is 3-15-1, none of these teams have more than one win. Even last week the the mean Steelers defense let up 29 points to the struggling Eagles. With the Browns playing as well as they have this far, I'm willing to take the chance on them this week. It will be a close game but I like the Browns to edge the Steelers out and hand them their first loss of the season.
Bears ML +100 @ Panthers
12:00 PM CT

While the Panthers have started out better than anyone could have imagined, they are still a very young team with an inexperienced head coach. I still do not think they are up to winning against the better teams in the NFL. While this Bears team is struggling to gain the respect of the rest of the league, do not look past them. With Fole's experience and tough defense they will be hard to beat.
Rams @ 49ers O51.5
7:20 PM CT

This game just screams over. The 49ers struggled last week but do not be mistaken, this is still a very good offense. The QB play of Jimmy Garoppolo will be better and they will be looking to put up some points against the division rival. With that being said, you can always count on the Rams to put points on the board as well. McVay and the Rams have looked like their former selves after the year hiatus. Both of these offenses should be lighting up the scoreboard come Sunday night, and I cannot wait to watch it.
100% Confidence Pick:
Chiefs -4 vs Bills
Monday* 4:00 PM CT

Do I have to say anything more than Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs coming off of a loss? Don't get me wrong the Bills are a good football team but when it comes down to it they are just no match for an angry Chiefs team. It's also worth noting that the Bills seemed to have come back down to earth in last weeks 42-16 loss to the Titans. Expect a high scoring game where Patrick Mahomes makes more big plays than Allen does down the stretch.
Matt Harris:
Washington Football Team @ Giants U43.5
12:00 PM CT

James Bradberry has slowly become a huge part of this New York defense and been one of the best corners in the league through 5 weeks. The Washington front seven remains one of the best, even without Chase Young. Both these teams have sneaky good defenses and the uncertainty of Kyle Allen and Daniel Jones being prone to mistakes, I expect a low scoring physical game.
Packers ML -114 @ Buccaneers
3:25 PM CT

A lot of bettors are on TB, but why? Because Brady’s coming off a loss? Don’t overthink it, Green Bay is the significantly better team and they’ll prove why they’re the best team in the NFC come this Sunday afternoon.
Rams @ 49ers O51.5
7:20 PM CT

One of my favorite plays on my card this week. San Francisco is depleted on defense and will struggle to stop the high powered LA Rams offense. On the other hand, the Rams D has been good, but faces a team that can exploit their weaker run defense. Get your popcorn ready, there’s gonna be a lot of points in this one.
100% Confidence Pick:
Patriots -9 vs Broncos
12:00 PM CT

Bill Belichick is money against young QBs and with Cam Newton and Stephon Gilmore coming back, this smells like a route for the New England Patriots. Even with Drew Lock returning from Injury the Broncos still remain one of the most injured teams in the NFL. Their personal just simply cannot match the Patriots.
Connor Sheehan:
Browns +3.5 @ Steelers
12:00 PM CT

Can the Browns win 5 in a row? The hype train was premature for them last year. But now it seems every resource that’s thrown into this rebuild is starting to take shape. The Browns have a serious shot of winning this division battle and if Baker can come to play- sky’s the limit.
Lions @ Jaguars O54.5
12:00 PM CT

This game features two of the worst defenses in the league. Detroit lost Justin Coleman to IR and Trufant is still hurt while Jacksonville lacks talent at multiple levels of their defense. I expect both teams to have trouble stopping their opposing offenses and run up the score.
Cardinals -1 @ Cowboys
Monday* 7:15 PM CT

The Cardinals get their first prime time game of the year against a suspect Dallas defense. If Kyler can keep his completion percentage close to 70 there’s no way Dallas can stop them. Especially with the nightmarish matchup between Hopkins and every corner on the boys roster. The Cardinals can make a statement on the biggest stage.
100% Confidence Pick:
Packers @ Buccaneers O55
3:25 PM CT

Green Bay and Tampa Bay have both being the highest scoring offenses in the league. I have the most faith in the packers offense with Lafluers play calls. That being said Brady has shown signs of mastering Arians offense and with Chris Godwin back in the lineup there’s no reason these two teams can’t put up 30 points each
