Similar to other entertainment sectors, 2020 was an up-and-down year for movies and television. While movie theaters bled out, streaming services became more popular and prolific than ever. While many anticipated movies and shows had to be delayed, we were surprised with other quality titles that we weren't even expecting.
All in all, 2020 forced TV and film creators to think outside of the box and bring their A-game. Despite what some would dub as a disappointing year, series such as The Queen's Gambit and The Last Dance and films such as TENET and Soul serve as proof that 2020 did indeed have some bright spots after all.
